Due to rain and lack of daylight the 2nd and 3rd session of qualifying is delayed until tomorrow 11:00 am local time.
There was wet weather already for the 3rd free practice, but after a good 30 minutes delay of the 1st qualification they only managed to perform that one before delaying the rest until tomorrow due to rain and lack of daylight.
The 3rd free practice ended with Romain Grosjean on top followed by the both Ferrari´s.

I totally get your point JL, although the problem is a little more complicated than that. Safety is of course one matter, but there is also the fact that the cars have evolved in a direction where they can’t operate in the same wide window as the yesteryear cars. Another circumstance is the type of track and drainage etc. I see a lot of complaints about them not running due to weather-conditions, so I’m thinking about putting together an article about why they for an example didn’t proceeded with the quali down in Melbourne.
